Brand new heart pendants that I'm working on right now! Iridescent, dichroic candy...and with more warm weather coming up I can get out and crank up the wet saw again without freezing!

new glass

Wednesday, December 2, 2009

here's the grinder with a carving wheel in action...er, sort of in action....I'll have to get my husband to take a photo while I'm grinding

Saturday, November 28, 2009

Santa came early this year! My Dad built me....yes, built...a new glass grinder with all recycled parts! I don't have the diamond grinding wheels on the shaft in these photos, but I will add some more later of the machine in action!

Here's a view of my little shed...you can see it doubles as a greenhouse in the winter for my plants. I have my kiln on wheels so I can roll it away from the wall when I'm firing it.

These are photos of my table from the show at Christina Brown's Art in the Yard...you might notice the Leanne Pizio pieces interspersed! Leanne shared her tent with me, but it turned out to be a rainfree day!

Rubber Stamp Source You Need To Know About

Create your own rubber stamp designs for use with clay, polymer clay, paper, or in my case, glass!

I just ordered a sheet from them, packing as much art as I could into a 9" x 7" area and it came back fantastic.

Remember to specify PLATE, MATRIX, and RUBBER and TRANSPARENCY when you order.

All for $37.50, including shipping and handling.

Freshly cut

Still have a pile to saw up, as you can see, but just cut these up today after firing them on Friday....I still need to grind them and polish them, but I love the way they are looking!
