Safe As Houses

I haven't created many treasuries of my own on Etsy, but I was inspired by the song! Go check out all the fantastic artists who have their own special view of house and home!

Indoor fireworks, can still burn your fingers
Indoor fireworks, we swore we were safe as houses
They’re not so spectacular, they don’t burn up in the sky
But they can dazzle or delight or bring a tear
When the smoke gets in your eyes…

SUNDAY, JULY 24

Here are some new pieces that I just got out of the kiln this morning after their fire polish!

I fired this one with the pure silver bail and the silver reacted with the recycled sauvignon blanc bottle glass to create this flare of color!

Here are some more new ones..the two clear ones in this photo were cut from a glass platter I found at the Goodwill in Wilkesboro, NC! Great patterning on the back of the platter!

I'll be putting wire bails on some of these today and adding them to my Etsy shop!

Jolly Rancher? No, Glass!

These are the latest pieces in my Etsy shop and I'm going to add some more today...the green one looks enough like a sour apple Jolly Rancher, you'll want to pick it up and taste it!

New Items on Etsy

I've just been posting some new ones! New recycled earrings from a cabernet sauvignon bottle and a pendant from a riesling bottle, along with several others!

All my riesling bottles are coming from a neighbor who I fondly call the "Wine Bottle Fairy!" I find sacks of lovely cobalt blue bottles at my back gate on a regular basis!
